The pictorial representation of the Christmas story with figures tells of Jesus' birth in the stable in Bethlehem. Mary and Joseph stand at the manger together with the ox and donkey, the shepherds and the Three Wise Men, who usually only appear on 6 January and bring presents to the newborn baby Jesus.
