Originating more than 160 years ago, the Herrnhut Star is nowadays considered the origin of all Christmas stars. Until today it is a beautiful tradition to start the contemplative Christmas season with a Herrnhut star.
Since 1897 the stars are traditionally handmade in the Herrnhut Star Manufactory. Each Herrnhut Star is unique and many people from all over the world carry the peaceful glow of the Herrnhut Star into their families at Christmas time.
