Tavern, illuminated

A warm welcome!
Warm welcoming light streams from the windows of the village tavern onto the wintry street. Hearty laughter drifts outside. Over hot soup, stew, or hot spicy mulled wine or tea, the residents of the Winter Village come together and enjoy spending time together during the Advent season. The windows are festively decorated with fir leaves and red baubles as well as jugs. In the front garden of the village tavern there is a beautiful birdhouse. The friendly hosts have certainly spread a few grains for the winter birds.
