What could be better than an evening stroll through the Christkindlmarkt during the Christmas season? The cold air is filled with the scent of mulled wine, bratwurst, roasted almonds and gingerbread. Under the big Christmas tree, in front of the city gates, a friendly gingerbread seller offers her goodies. The small booth is decorated Christmassy with green branches, red baubles and of course hearts and stars made of gingerbread. Packed with gifts for their loved ones, the elegant lady and gentleman are already looking forward to one of the treats. The cute dog hopes that something will fall off for him too. The little girl with the sleigh and the teddies is on her way to Santa Claus, who is already reading from his golden book.
